Hello All,
My name is Harold and i do not currently own a S2000. I am in the market for one and saw this site. Just wanted to get more information about the car and technical advice on my s2k ventures. I am lookin for a 2000 or 2001 s2k because i was told that the redline was 9k rpms. I am going to get an s2k around october of this year because my insurance drops. Just joined the board to get some information on what i should look for when buying a used s2k... And to see some of the custom parts i can get for the s2k... Thanx,
Harold

Welcome to the boards Harold. BTW, so you know the differences, 00-03 models had the 9k redline. 04+ models have the 8k, but are 2.2liters instead of 2.0 which gives them more torque (don't ask which is better). If you do a search on model year differences, you'll come up with the changes that were made every year.

If you want a look at the aftermarket for this car, check out this thread. It pretty much covers 99% of what's available for the S.: http://www.s2katlanta.com/%7Es2katl/forum/...hread.php?t=719

Too bad you can't get 1 in May/June so you can enjoy the summer.

Welcome to the site, I would look for an '02 or '03 if I were you. They also had 9k redline.
