I'm going to be looking for an s2k in the near future. I'm looking for advice and opinions on what years to look for, what to avoid, what to look out for, etc. What are your thought?

Thanks, JCS44

Do a search and you'll find a number of reasons to get a late '02 or '03 model. They will have all the upgrades and the prices are very reasonable. Good luck.

Fun factor - 02-03, 9K redline, glass rear window (00-01 has plastic)
Daily driver - 04-05, more torque, but only 8300 redline

Good info. Thanks.

What are reasonable prices to expect on 2002 or 2003 with low miles?

Thanks, JCS44

If you get it in the 19's, that's real good. 21's is what most people list them for. Mileage would be like 30-40k.

I'd say go for a 00-06, they are all fun

I bought my late '02 (VIN# 75xx) last January for $24k with 8k miles on it (warranty through 9/16/05). That price included a factory car cover and garage storage for the remainder of the winter.

02 for old body style & glass rear window, 03 for new body w/ 9k redline, 04-05 for 8k redline and new body... 06 for ugly rims.

02 and 03 look the EXACT same inside and out, you may want to edit your info.
