Default New Mod

Ever wonder why only the driver side window can be rolled down with just one touch while the passenger side requires holding down on the button? I have just discovered a new mod that would eliminate the hold-down completely. Here it goes. With your remote press down on the lock and unlock button at the same time for about 5 seconds. You should see your lights flashes twice. Then press the unlock button twice immediately after the light flashes. Now you should be able to operate the passenger window with just one touch. Enjoy

Yeah one of my friends told me about this (is a tech) and he said you could do that, but I wasn't sure if the one touch passenger window thing was something done permanently or temporary??? Good looking out though, peace...

Interesting.

I may be mistaken but I think the default setup is for safety reasons. i.e. so the driver doesn't inadvertantly crush a passenger's arm.

It would be a nice feature to implement though.

Does that work for the Honda optional alarm also?

Muz, I think he was talking about making the window go DOWN. How does that crush your arm, and why do you have it in the door cavity?

Oh, stupid me. I forgot you Aussies are south of the equator. Of course, down would be up, therefore you would crush the passenger's arm.

How would you get it back to factory default, should you so desire? Same moves, perhaps? Thanks!

I tried this and couldn't get it to work. I have a MY02.
