congrats to one MY05 Silverstone Red/Black owner to another! Just picked mine up about 2 weeks ago!
Congrats on the pick up.
you're probably loving the rain\sleet\ice we got tonight. what dealership did you get it from? Gustman? they had an '04 or an '05 Silverstone sitting outside alllll winter long. hope someone gets a good deal on that thing.
congrats from Oshkosh, fella.

I'm stoked for you yo. I just got my new 05 Rio Yellow s2 on Jan 22nd. Needless to say I love this car. I had a 02 Sebring Silver and lost it in a DUI. I've learned a lot since then and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be alive and able to get another s2...damn I love this car.
I must say, I love the yellow a lot more than my old silver. That was my only regret after leasing my last s2.
I'm completely satisfied with the 05 except for the damn slave cylinder causing the clutch delay from 2-3 and 3-4. Replacing that with a 00-03 slave cylinder will be my first mod.
Anyway, just sharing my excitement because I never thought that I would be able to get this car again so soon...and I know how excited you must be.
Oh, there is one other thing...I was actually able to get the 05 for 29900. This was extremely surprising to me because I was not able to get anything under MSRP in 02. Is this common now-a-days. I should also mention that I live in CA and I have noticed that the s2k seems to be cheaper on the east coast. Let me know if this is actually a good deal...I felt it was for sure, especially for where I live.
Peace

I'll see if the dealer will adjust the rods. Glad to hear it is a common issue.
either way, no way, no how they should touch or clunk.

they either have them in backwards (meaning the one crossing in the front should be in the back, or vice-versa) or they only swapped one and not both of the stronger ones.

Really? I'll pass this on to my husband. Both of our cars had them rub together. One we installed and the other the dealership installed.
