Congrats

What should you watch out for? Parking! Realize the hood is very long, and the front is very low. Parking blocks WILL ruin your front bumper. Your seat should lineup with the backseat of most sedans next to you while parking.

Congrats on the new car! Definitely watch the nose of your car on driveways. A lesson I learned the hard way, but one I'll never do again.

Me Three! Well...ALMOST...after over 4 years of waiting, I finally take delivery this Saturday of an NFR '05!

What I don't quite get is how come NFR isn't a more popular color? For me, it was a choice between GPW, Rio or NFR. All silver somehow just looks a little like primer to me, suzuki blue is way too light a shade of blue, and black hides the shapely curves of our beloved.

But NFR won out, with Rio a very close second....and with GPW just a little too common as a color choice (though not necessarily a common color for an s2k). Red just is THE color of a sports car. Besides, it was the color of my old man's TR4A way back when....and what a difference 40 years make!

LOL! Yes, I know...let the flame wars begin. No offense to any of you with those 'other' colors...all s2ks are beautiful....anyway it's all subjective...sort of...

Red isn't really popular for any vehicle. Even if you look at the Corvette or Miata communities, you don't see that many in red. Most people have all these funny ideas about getting pulled over more (don't buy it) or having higher insurance (not true at all).

I really would have went with NFR if my previous two cars hadn't been red. Just wanted a change of pace. I do agree though, a sports car just looks best in red or yellow.
