I just wanted to introduce myself . I am a proud owner of a 2003 S2000 purchased at five thousand miles three days ago . My odyssey to s- land started just before my birthday June 5 . I was driving by a local used car lot and saw a 1998 Boxster which I fell in love with and it became my 41st Bday present . Two weeks into my ownership, my porsche was introduced to the effects of meeting a Western Kentucky deer head-on . Luckily, only the Porsche ( and Bambi ) were injured . I by coincidence had just read the car and driver comparison and was intrigued by the S2000 . I checked this forum which only raised my curiosity . Now , I am the proud owner of my third Honda ( 1988 Prelude, 1999 Accord Ex Coupe and now the S 2000 ) . I am enjoying this forum and hope to meet some of you soon . Are there any other West Ky folks out there ? By the way , if you haven't guessed already, my Boxster is headed to Porsche heaven (God rest its soul ! )

Welcome!!!! - sorry about your road trip with the wild life - been there and done that several times - PA's rather large deer herd kind of gaurintees at least one car/deer accident in your driving career here.

On the up side of that, according to the latest Car & Driver article - you just traded up from #3 to the #1 rated roadster. Congratulations!

Welcome aboard!
You've traded one great car for another.
I got my S in early 2002 as a belated 42nd birthday present. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
Enjoy the drive -- especially since it's already broken in!
BTW, what color did you get?

Congrats on your new and improved purchase! I'm sure you'll have a blast in your new ride.
P.S. put in your vehicle VIN under your profile and you'll become a owner instead of an enthusiast.

My mom has a 98 boxster and I remember the first time she let me drive it when I was 16, it was the coolest experience I've ever had in a car, then I bought my S. What boxster?
