I just picked up my 04 Silvestone / red interior this afternoon (550 miles to go before break-in). I just sold my 360HP WRX, so I am getting used to the S. So far, I love the way it handles and brakes. The look, fit and finish is awesome. I can't wait to break it in

Did you but it from Rck Case Honda??? Hope not if you did, because they are a rip off there.. Got my S for a thousand less than Rick case's best price.....

Don't pay a hair over $30,500 for the car!

I too went from a fairly modified WRX (240kW/320HP) to an S2000 (also Silverstone/Red).

In terms of overall fit and finish there is no comparison, but it's hard to go past that turbo-rush feeling (especially from a 360HP WRX I'd imagine!).

Good luck with the new car and welcome!

No. Got it from Coal Springs Honda for 30450. Probably could have got it for less if it wasnt for the Silverstone/Red-Black combo.

LOL... I almost bought mine for Coral Springs Honda, but after dealing with their internet manager Mark Cohen, I walked out, and went to Pompano Honda.....

There was a salesman at Coral Springs Honda, his name was Robert, and he was probably the nicest salesman I have ever encountered, it was a shame that their Internet Manager had to screw everythinig up, and be an a$$hole..

I bet you dealt with Matt Lerner, huh?

He's a really nice guy!

Coral Springs Honda definitely deals on S2000's!

Alister, you are right. I had an IHI VF34 turbo on my WRX and the rush form 3000 rpm to 7000 was incredible. I used to have a 2001 Vette with 425 HP and even that did not compare to the WRX in feel.

I test drove the S2000 demo model quite hard I think that the balance between power and handling was perfect. I probably will not tweak this one at all......or so I say now.

trendy,

Did you have it shipped from here to California? I dealt with the Internet Manager too. I was so pissed off, I told the sales guy that I didnt want to have anything to do with him. Its a good thing that I knew the sales guy I dealt with from a previous life.
