Default new owner, first complaint

i'm sure others have bitched about this...my turn...why did honda put a cup holder in the center console? it's almost useless. can't use it and drive at the same time unless you're just cruising...

Where else would they have put it? Seriously, if you're worried about the cup holder maybe you should have bought an Excursion instead.

I call it garbage holder heh.
Not like a real size cup would fit in there fine.
Near those electric control no liquid gets near it for me.
Buy one of those suction cup holders.

hahah...i'm just saying it's a "bad" design. the cup holder clearly prevents you from shifting. why have a cup holder that prevents you from driving properly? i would have just not had a cup holder altogether.

I did some driving today and I was thinking about the same thing too. Couldn't really put a cup in there, it would be in the way. So, I just parked the car at Jamba Juice for 10 minutes and then did more driving

buy and install the ashtray from your honda dealer. It installs in the cupholder then you won't have a cupholder anymore, so you can't complain about it.

Of course then, you'll want to know why the car doesn't come with any cupholders.

This reminds me of that thread, where the guy was complaining because the ignition key ring doesn't light up.

Well, I use mine for change. I think Honda put it there just so buyers wouldnt complain that there was no cupholder. What you do with it from there is up to you. It's just more for looks then anything
