I just received my 2001 S2000 day before yesterday (300 miles already), and wanted to let people new to the board (and car) know... (My dealer didn't even know about this)

There is a secret storage compartment! (at least it was REALLY not obvious).

Open the storage compartment between the seats. The compartment is ABOVE the storage compartment, with 2 small stowage areas. With the storage compartment open, feel under the top of the compartment, and squeeze to release the top, and flip it up. (the windscreen and top will fold away).

I hope you new owners find this as good news - I sure did!

You should NOT be spreading information like this around the Internet!

It is supposed to be a secret!

Sounds like you must have found your radio code card.

I just wonder how many people just went out to their car to find it!

BTW - you're from MA too. Have you gone to any S2000 events? I was thinking about the one tomorrow, but I don't think I'll have time.

98TypeR#21:

Please check out this link from the Planning Room: http://www.s2000online.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000019.html

If you are planning on attending and would like to ride down to the rally point with me (I live in Hudson, MA, Rt. 495/Rt. 62, let me know as soon as possible via either email or PM.

I figure that will take about 45 minutes from my location to Sturbridge.

Let me know either way!

I'm bummed now.

I checked out the plans, and it REALLY looks like fun.

Unfortunately, I already have plans for part of the day, so it just won't work.

I'll be checking for new events from now on!

98TypeR#21,

Congratulations on getting your car. You've not posted your VIN number for the drawing of the leather accessories. There's only one slot left. See this thread: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=1581
