Default New Paint Job

Had a question...I have a 2000 Black S and it's gettin time for a new paint job, I was wondering if anyone has gotten a new paint job and if so, about how much did you pay? I am tryin to decide if I want to just re-paint it black or go with a different color, if anyone has any answers or suggestions please leave em.

same color is the safest for resale, BUT go wild! pm sideways, he did his with the pros, we charge about 3000.00 for a same color, if you change the whole car, it depends on how much of the car you want (engine bay etc) best guess for quality is 3-5000 ish. if you want concorse quality you are in the 20k range.....

Thanks fellas, I didn't realize it would be that expensive...I really love black and I'm sure that's what I'll stick with, just thought it would be like a new S if I changed tha color of it. I have a veilside body kit on it and I saw one with that and tha car was Midnight blue, loved it...So I thought bout that color but I love my black to much I think

Damn, 5 yrs and a new paint job is needed already? I might suggest waxing a little more frequently next time. Like everyone else said, I would stick with the same color.

Well I'm from Louisiana and tha roads here are HORRIBLE...Constantly having trucks fling crap up at me and catchin scratches all over. And my body kit is constantly having touch ups because you do NOT have a car that rides low to tha ground here. Way to much upkeep. Wouldn't trade it for anything else though

There were lots of keen ideas in this Dukes of Hazard thread, but don't bother looking because all the image links were broken when cthree went to the new version of s2ki.

My favorite was the camouflage scheme. Go wild!

If I were to repaint I would go with some of the J-Spec colors. Like Monte Carlo Blue Pearl I have a friend that painted his teg that color w/ the front end conv. and it looks awesome.
