Default New Remote for s2k

I want to replace the remote for locking / unlocking the car because it looks really used and bad. Honda asked me for 77GBP , a bit too much maybe?! I was thinking that maybe I can buy one off ebay or something and go to them just to reprogram it.

Do I have to use the exact same model or may I use another type? Is it possible to open the boot using the remote ? With this one that I have now I can't do that. It has only 2 buttons and says Honda Security System on it.

You could probably buy the casing and just swap the internals in from the old one.

Maybe its time for a change, I would think the style from Handa accessories can be programmed to work.
