I'm glad to here that. I'm looking into a new top for my 00. Can't see nothing in through the plastic window anymore. Robbins Top was the first pick on my list. Did you install it yourself?

If you can't see through the plastic window, get some plastic polish. The area you need to polish is the inside of the window, as it gets scratched when it goes down on that plastic tray. You'll thank me later

correct me if im wrong but do you need a buffer for the plastic polish?

Nope, you can do it by hand! The machine will do a better job of course, but your elbow grease will do just fine. It's tough to do, as getting to it while the seats are in is no easy task - but 45 minutes later it'll look close to new

post pics of the top. how much. break down of parts and labor?

i have an 01 with a bad condition top due to previous owner as well. i have tried scratch x on the window since i read that has worked for some people. but i had no luck with it.

ScratchX did wonders for me. Looks brand new. The first time will be the hardest.
