Thumbs up New to the S need some advice please

Hi everyone I have loved the S2000 since 1999 and I was 12 years old. I really want to buy one since now days I can purchase a good one for under 20K. I am kind of a big guy I'm 220lb 5'8" I'm kinda scared I will look *retarded* in it. I have 2 cars in mind a S2k and a 350z. Both great cars as we all know for the price. Before I go test drive the S I wanted some info and advice from people that actually own the car before the sharks at the dealer get in my head.

1. Will I look out of place in the car being my size?

2. 06-07 car 18000 good price for the car with 30K miles?

3. Any weaknesses I should look for when I go look at the car?

4. Should I buy the S over the 350?

5. Just general advices as much as possible I have searched around and found a lot of great info. Please don't say search...

Thank you.

1. Nope. Height is noticed more than weight. You are not all that tall.

4. Yes. I like the 370. But the S is as fast as the 350 (coupe) and much more nimble. I wouldn't even look at the 350 vert.

1.I'm a pretty big dude myself. 6' 200 lbs and i fit perfectly.

2. That sounds like a good price.

3. For 06-07s there shouldn't be too much to worry about. Just make sure you do all the fluid changes and such.

4. It depends. I prefer the S over the Z but if u go on the Z forums i'm sure they prefer the Z over the S. The Z is much roomier on the inside and the seats can actually recline. Z has way more torque and it "feels" faster than a S2000. The gearbox is garbage compared to any Honda.

5.Just by the car with the lowest mileage you can afford.

Oh and the S is about on par with a non HR Z Coupe (pre 06s). The HR Z coupe's are significantly faster than an S2000 in a straightline and around a track.

i'm also comparing the z to the s but what surprises me is that low mileage dealer HR z's can be found for around 20k. Nissans dont hold value as well as hondas
