As far as the 2.2L, I'd love to have a 2.2L in the AP1, just one with a modified head that could support it running to 9000. I wouldn't think that the piston speeds would be THAT high for it assuming there was no valve float. The main concern would be the stress on the rods...but then, I'm going WAY off topic...back to the 06'
I mentioned that the rods are the main concern in the first post. True yes, heads are the same...but I thought that the valve springs had a different part number, along with something else, as they didn't need to be as strong because the engine would not be reving as high. Personally, if I was going to rev an engine factory limited to 8200-8300...to a hefty 9000 or even 9200, yes I'd upgrade some head parts.

Again, guys, this isn't the topic of this thread, I don't like highjacking this guys 06 thread and continuing bringing up 2.2L reving to 9k stuff..start a new thread, pm me the link...I'll chime in, lets make this a new virgin...oral doesn't count right?

Headers designed with the F22 in mind for example. You don't use a B18 header on a B20VTEC motor, well you can, but you'll get much better gains out of a header designed for the B20 with the VTEC head.

But I guess we can all assume that wont be the case for the F2xC motors, but it's unlikely.

Love the new blue, those wheels are fuglier than the AP2's though. 5-spoke rules!
I like the 04-05 wheels, and did long before I even considered buying one. They're not quite as slick as the DC5R wheels (which I paid a lot of money for on my RSX), but close enough that people mix them up.

so you're say'n we could expect a SPOON header for the F22c, Amuse header for the F22c, J's Racing F22c header???

this is an example...

If said companies find a different design to be more effective, yes, I'd imagine so.
