New S2000
All,
Just got my brand spankin' new black on black Saturday and I couldn't be happier.
I have been wanting one since inception. Wife didn't like the looks (poor thing) and wanted a Z3. I opted for the M Roadster but, lo and behold, they stopped taking special orders--seems as if BMW stopped making them. So I said sweet, now I have the perfect excuse. Called Bale Honda in Little Rock and they had one in just off the truck the day before--ten miles and still had the road dirt on it. I said get it ready, and, sight unseen, went and paid cash for it. The black on black is a true beauty.
I test drove them several times in the past and loved it, but nothing compares to the sheer thrill and joy of winding this puppy out--tight and lovely.
Don't worry, I am keeping it below 5000--although I can't see how it goes to nine grand. Must sound like a crotch rocket!
Anyway I'm going to take some digital pics and post them.
Any Little Rockers out there interested in Autocross? We have a great organization here.
Let me know.
Regards,
Happnin' Dave Matthews

Congrats on your new baby. I, too, was thinking about the M Roadster a year ago. But when they told me how long it might be to get one (because of engine availability), I went to the S. I do not regret a my decision one iota. May you have many years of happiness with it.
