Default NEW S2000 Break-in suggestions

I am slated to receive my new S2000 sometime this month and I am just curious about what people think in terms of break-in time and treatment. I want to get to drive the car like it is supposed to, but I also want to make sure everything gets seated well and that I do not tear things up right off the bat!

On a side note, does anyone no about driving clubs in the Va area or where you can get track time?

Thanks...

Keep it under 5500rpms and vary your speed for the first 600 miles.

mfabry,

You live in Houston? If so do you ever go out to Texas World Speedway? I grew up there and I am hoping to get to drive it one day.

I would ignore what anyone else says and just go with what is in the user's manual (who knows best what the S2000 needs, it's designers or someone else?). Read it cover to cover when you receive the car, and follow it to the letter.

(For the drive home, what mfabry told you is correct.)
