Hi,

Just got into the market and was considering looking at several cars, but once I test drove the S2000, I knew I had reached my dream-car (within budget).

Questions
1. The dealer Anderson Honda (CA) is still charging a premium (appx 33.5K)? Should I still be paying this? You think I can bring it down?

2. Can you suggest a list of things I need to do before I take delivery and purchase?

Thanks
Pratik

Here's a great site with links to taking delivery.

With regards to price, what did that 33.5K include? I paid MSRP $32,740 but that was without tax and license. $800 seems like a small markup, is there some deal added equipement? I know you can buy it for MSRP, but I don't know if you can go lower.

I'd recommend against Anderson Honda (PA, right?). They're pretty rude there. And when I've spoken to them (a while ago) they were unwilling to budge on the mark-up.

try the links or san leandro honda.

I live on the East Coast (New Hampshire) and bought mine about four weeks ago for $500 under MSRP. When I first started shopping around, most of the dealers I called were asking $500 to $1000 over MSRP. Then I used the Honda Website and found two local dealers who would sell the car at MSRP and the one who I bought the car from. They had to trade one of their Spa Yellows with another dealer to get my Red/Black.

I know things are a little different on the West Coast, but I have to believe you can get the car for MSRP. Try the Honda Website.

If you still have no luck, you can always buy the car from AutoFair Honda in Manchester, NH and have it shipped to you.

Good Luck! You are going to love this car!!
