I was just watching fear factor a minute ago when all of a sudden i see the front end of a ap2 s2000 silver, beeeautiful driving over some mountain roads, the guy speaking was saying something about a powerful vtec engine, low emissions and independent suspension, he says "you expect this from honda's cars......but this is a truck" or something like that, anyway then they proceed to go over a hill and show a redline driving and cornering w/ 2 motorcycles in the back, needless to say i was very disappointed, all of these years and i've yet to see a s2k commercial on t.v.....and now they use it to sell the redline....i'm mad and pouting now. this is b.s.

It's an add for their new Ridgeline truck. Love the S though. It's the first time I've seen one in a TV ad.

Well...its a commercial for both. See by not putting in the name people will become curious. They'll see the little honda sports car, not know what it is...and in some cases...they'll just have to go ask. I think not putting the name of it in the commercial is a smart thing.

 

There's one out there. I saw it for the MY 04. Was a silverstone I believe just driving around. It was on during C&D on Sunday morning I believe. LONG time ago though. The commercials guy says: "Four inches in any direction and the whole world shifts." There's an ad for the MY 04 in C&D which says the same thing w/ a pic of the shift knob on one page, the S on the other at an angle.

 

Most people probably think Honda is saying their truck is better than a Porsche.

For Presidents Day, there an ad that's run for the last two years. Guy's in the showroom admiring an NFR, Abe on one shoulder and George on the other. One tells him to get the S, the other tells him to be practical and get the Odyssey. He argues with them and says someting about driving him crazy as the salesmen look at him with nothing on his shoulders, next to the S.
