haha first gen 00-01 or second gen02-03 or third 04-present untill changes the one you're buying...
first gen and second has 9 k redlines and a smaller engine typically slower to some and faster to others...

the third has a 8k redline exterior is much more fancier..... has a 2.2 liter engine and the 01-00 is made cheaper... plastic rear windows... cheap center counsol (black part or silver part with the shift boot)... and that's about it...

don't vtec till about 3-5k miles.... break in your engine first... and watch out for the max torque if you stay in first gear on a turn....

i don't know if this sounds like giberish to you because it's 2 right now... but anywho... that's the difference

remember since this is your first rear wheel drive car (if driving a honda all your life is true) that you can loose the back end really quick... so if you wanna try something go to an open stadium... we don't need a "AHH!!!! bent a lower control arm and broke my axle on a CURB F&$K!!!" well have fun and did you buy it for 31k?

congrats and drive safely...check for spring spacers yourself regardless of whether the dealership says they took them out or not.

Sorry, one more thing, azndrunk, picked it up for 29,999 from a dealer in witchita. Costing me 500 to have it shipped. Seems like a good deal to me. I hope. What do you guys think?

azndrunkyoon--Are you kidding me? Don't VTEC until 3-5k miles??? I'm assuming you are saying that, so you can get used to the car? Because you don't have to wait that long for the initial engine breakin. I'm waiting until 600, then .
