Why is it that I've only seen that "S2000 Oil Consumption" clip on this site and was never informed by the dealer or honda about this? No reading material included with the car says anything about this, so how would anyone know that synthetic is supposedly harmful to your engine? Also, the clip only states this is a problem with the 00-01 models, if this was such a major problem then why haven't they since included this information in the 02/03/04/05 owners manuals?

Where is all this proof from so many people here?

:banghead:
Damn. Now I can't wait to go home and look it up in the 04 owners manual. I am sure I saw it in there.

Bottom line is honda says don't do it. If you want to argue with me on it, then please show me where you have better credentials than the engineers that BUILT the friggin engine.

No ones argueing that this isn't the optimal way to do it, this guy doesn't have a choice it's already been done.

I'm not arguing against road rage at all. I found and quoted the truth mobil one non-syth with additives whatever that road rage found out.

Anyone here that is dumb enough to argue with a man that is that passionate about oil that he freakin has it analyised with a boat load of other oils to find out whats the dealeo with oil knows his $hit.

What i said was... It ain't goin' blow your freaking engine up. That I'll argue.

However the point here is there isn't a reason for him to worry about it now because whats done is done and he might as well read what oil best serves his purose from road rage which is why i gave him the link to the oil info.

Thanks for all the info. I didn't know that this would spark up such a discussion. I am probably going to switch to Dino oil. I want to see if i can get a proper break-in.
