Just got a call from the dealer. My silver/black 2001 is in and will be ready Monday. That gives me time to go to El Monte, drive back to San Diego, maybe switch to super blue fluid, get the thermostat, sway bar and catback exhaust installed, and motor up to Thunderhill. Unfortunately, my wheels aren't here yet, so I'll be running on stock rubber. Ah, well, can't have everything, I guess.

What's the last 4 digits of your VIN #? Mine is 8417 & is supposed to be here in FL at my dealer on Thursday. I'm sure mine came over on the same ship as yours but if your dealer just got yours this past Thursday in California since they arrive in San Diego mine probably won't be here Thursday. It has to go from San Diego to Jacksonville by train & then from J'Ville to Tallahassee by truck. The anticipation is killing me!!! Congrats on your new baby! I hope I get to experience what you do Monday very very soon!

I didn't mean I was going to do it all in one day, although I'll admit you could interpret my message that way. El Monte to San Diego Tuesday, 140 miles; San Diego to Sacramento the following Monday, 500 miles, Sacramento to Willows Tuesday, 90 miles. Just about right to get my 600 miles below VTEC!
