Default New Seats to go with the door panels (Pix inside)

When I got home today, look what was on my front porch:

I bought these used red seats and they arrived today, so I figured it's only right to put them on ASAP!

Getting the black one's out was pretty easy (Don't forget the seatbelt sensor under the driver's seat!) I had a little trouble getting the drivers seat in. I did not realize that the rails can slide independantly from each other, and I think one side slipped a tooth in shipment. So when I put the seat in, the holes did not line up quite right, and I was having a heck of a time sliding the seat back and forth. I did not realise what the problem was until I did the passenger side, where one of the rails failed to line up by a matter of several inches. I found that if I relased the slides and then moved them all the way back (with the seats out of the car) that they lined up much easier in the car. Here are some finished pix:

Anyone want to buy some black seats with only 1944 mi on them?

Actually when I get some decent pix of them I will make a new post into the for sale forum.

looks good

you can always sell those seats on ebay. They're usually a hot item.

Suggestion: If you don't have 'em already, get some McGard seat locks. Otherwise, keep the black seats--you may need them.

The seat locks are on order. I am part of the GB going on now. Thank goodness I keep the car in the garage.
