Default New Sebring just arrived

Greetings from San Diego. I've been closely following this terrific site for almost a year, in anticipation of becoming an owner. The day finally arrived. I flew to Phoenix yesterday to take possession of a beautiful Sebring/black 04 (had difficulty finding the right combination at the right price in Southern California) and drove it the 400 miles back through the desert and mountains ... top down the whole way, even as it got brisk into the nighttime. Stars were out, beautiful scenery ... put a bow on it just before I pulled into the driveway to present to my wife, who is ecstatic. Now the fun begins. Thank you for all of your advice.

Congrats on the car! Good decision on the color!

Best of luck to you. Look at it this way - with the miles you put on it driving it back from AZ, you're almost done w/ the break-in period!

There's nothing like it! Welcome to the club!

No options. Just the car cover and wheel locks. I'm waiting to see how people like the new headrest speakers. Need to figure the best way to hook my Ipod up without doing significant work. 200 miles to go for break-in. Will reach it this weekend, definitely, as weather looks good and I'm on vacation!

SDBrad:

Easy way to hook up your iPod...

http://www.ice-link.com/

simple- call them...they make an interface contraption that lets you hook your gen 1 or 2 ipod to factory head unit- which sees it as a cd changer and it lets you control the ipod with the head unit. realllllly nice...

Welcome SDBrad!!

Be sure to come out to the next SD meet / run. We are tentative for the first weekend in december.

Our group is growing again, with 7 S2000s on the last run.

There have been a bunch of new people posting in the SD area, so the turnouts should continue to grow.

Watch the SoCal forum for details on the next run (Ortega Hwy)

Congrats,
Hockey
