Default New to the site. Just got an s2000

Hey whats up everyone? My names Frank and im from south jersey. I just bought a 02 s2000 today. ive been wanting one for a while now and i finally got a good deal. ill have pictures up early next week.

i used to own a 96 gs eclipse. it was pretty nice, had some good mods done, then i drove a 01 s2000 and i was hooked. so i sold the gs in hopes of finding an s2000. ive been on this site for about a month trying to learn what i can, but i said i would only join when i get a car.

im going to try to keep the s2000 stock for a month or 2 untill i see how the payments go. after i have some cash i intend on getting a amuse ti dual exhaust for the first mod along with some interior things. nothing major right away. ill just take it one step at a time. the dsmtuners forums were great, and i hope these will be also. i still have much more to learn...

Congrats on the car! I'm new here as well, but have been surfing around for awhile. But smart move on not rushing into things. Like you already know the car is different than your 96 GS. As I've moved on from car to car I've learned the "best first mod" is to get to know your car first, haha even if that's not a mod.

This forum is the best one I've been a part of. Better than several BMW and a 350z forum I was a member of for extended periods. Welcome, and enjoy!

I would spend $35 and go to a local autox....thats one of the best places to learn your car, and a few cones arent going to do much damage!

Welcome, and congrats on the purchase!!

What color combo did you get?
