Well I was in the middle of making the new glovebox that I am building for the S2000 and realized that I could use this space for other things besides the glovebox...could I fit a VAFC in this space... You better belive it. I posted some pics really quick to show you what view the driver would have...what do you guys think? Now some things to note before you comment. First off do not mention that the back of the panel has lines on it and that you can see under the dash. I know! This will not be the case. There will be a completely finished and enclosed glovebox when I am done that looks as good as my VAFC Door product. It just so happens that it appears that we could fit a VAFC Door in the glovebox we built...as well as a AVCR...APexi REv/Speed meter and any other circular gauge you want. Now I know you are saying that you couldn't see gauges from the passenger seat. Obviously you would not place your tach over on that side but other things such as trans temp, air/fuel meter etc may be good. Basicly items that you don't have to see but it nice when you do. And yes you can close the glovebox so that it looks like the stock panel...
More details after these weekend when we go to the laser cutters to build the glovebox. So who likes any of these ideas?
yeah the glovebox is a nice idea ! everyone here will want one !!
though on the AFC installation spot, i personally think it's too far from the driver. screen is far and angled to read and the buttons aren't easy to reach.
