Love the cattch can idea. If the oil side could be clear or have a clear area to see how much oil is in there, that would be an improvement. And $500 is highway rebbery for an aluminum box.

An aluminum flat bottom kit is something I have been thinking of for a while. Something that would work with the front splitter and have access to the drain plug and possibly vents to pull hot air out of the engine/trans area. It would have to go at least half way down the car to make it do anything.

Don't know if someone has a kit, but a well priced brake duct kit for ap1/2 would sell if it where effective. Maybe with some block off inserts for when it is pouring rain and some nylon window screen at the bumper to stop debris from getting sucked in.

Pop-up lights??

I am in total disagreement...it's one more part to fail, and history has proven them to be a serious pain in the arse. Two of my previous cars proved that as well.

1) AP1 Fog/Driving Lights

I would like to see fog/driving lights that fit the damn faux brake ducts without having to cut the crap out of the bumper only to have mis-matched gray pieces in there. Show me a nice piece that fits perfectly in the AP1 space and only requires me to drill a very small hole in the inside top of the fake duct for the wires and I'll buy a set tomorrow. HID would be preferred to match the temperature of the stock headlights.

2) Dash pocket Retro-fit

I would not mind having another bin or two on the passenger side of the car, where the newer AP2s have. Something quite vertical where I could pop my cell phone and wallet when I get in the car, instead of having to constantly open and close my center glovebox. I'm not a tiny dude so it's awkward reaching in the center box constantly.

If somebody came up with a replacement piece that had pockets where things won't fly out, I'll buy it - unless it says Mugen or J's Racing on it, cause then it'll cost as much as the total purchase price of my car

I want to see someone make a kit that would allow the K20/24 to be dropped into our cars and attached to the s2000 tranny.

Wouldn't you then have 6 reverse gears and 1 forward gear? Where do I sign up?

I do believe you're correct. I think as part of the kit there might be a reversal gear prior to the S2k bell housing.
