Default New Top

So my "new" my03 , the second one i've owned ...got attacked by some kids and the results was a slashed top ...however I found out who did it and really felt bad , this kid has no Dad and a drunk mom so ...long story short , I had to replace the top on my on dime. I ended up getting a cloth top from an online seller and had a great guy "2poor2mod" do the install . The result is fantastic . The new top looks so much richer in color and looks way different from our OEM top . Its like the top on a bmw or benz ...all cloth and very well finished , so if u plan to replace your top ...get a cloth one ...you won't be sorry . My car looks better than I would have ever thought it could . So all in all this issue I had turned out to be a a major plus in the end ....o btw forgot to mention the top I had to replace already had a small rip , so it would have been replaced soon anyway ....life is always good when you have 9k to redline your issues away ...

that was nice of you to leave that kid alone. I would've at least smacked him in a corner or something.

I agree that the cloth looks better than vinyl but will probably require more attention to maintain. Preserve your new top by spending twice the effort that you did with your previous top. Double up on your next order of Rag-top or equivilent. Congratulations.

I went through topsonline.com, got a great deal from them.

Tops Online

Here are my pics...I got the HV denim black, with a conversion to a glass window - no rear defroster.

AFTER:

I am an occasional user of my S2000, but I have to say I am very pleased with the top. It looks great, and best of all, it's padded and protected in areas of the interior that were not protected before on the OEM soft top, so I definitely expect this top to last significantly longer than the OEM. And having the glass window over the plastic rocks!
