Default New top installed today

Got it done today. But what is a bit more interesting about all this is I started out in Duluth, GA, drove to Jacksonville, FL (5 hrs, 0 minutes, not bad) where D-Spec & MIAMI4QUAD changed out the old with a new top in 2 hr 30 minutes, returned to Duluth, GA (4 hrs, 50 minutes, a little better) all in the same day. 12 speed traps total and 2 state troopers all 'sniffed out', no tickets. Kudos to MIAMI4QUAD & D_Spec for their excellent and efficient work. And for those who think seats and panels behind the seats have to come out... M-Kay. It didn't happen.

A Robbins black-black vinyl top cost $527.99 + $16.38 shipping from www.rockauto.com (Click on Catalog, Honda, S2000, Body-Exterior, then select canvas or vinyl, then colors). MIAMI4QUAD charged me $450 for the work, replaced it with D_Spec. FWIW, they live North FL.

$450 is a really good and fair price for the work.

It's not hard, really. Mine took me 8 hours, but it can be done in 4-6 if you really know you'r stuff. The $1000-1500 most places want is just not a good value at all.

Which radar detector did you use to sniff out the speed traps? I'm currently running a hardwired V1, but I've really been itching to upgrade to the Bell STiR.
