How did the S2K feel at that speed? What were the conditions like?

My comment is that either the conversion is wrong or the tac is not 100% accurate at those speeds due to tire diamiter.

I know for a fact that red line in 6th guear on the car is 165 drag limited to 150-155. So unless you were going down hill or put a higher top guear in its not 100% accurate at that speed.

Though I am not trying to detract from the of the speed you were traveling!

Your passenger must have been like what is he thinking?!

I thought there were some people who have gotten their cars into the 170's on dynos? I know there is no drag in this environment, but this indicates that the topspeed is over 165.

I also thought we had reports of someone at around 162-163mph???

Just wondering?

Swiss2K - You are crazy my man!!!

The rev limiter should hit at 169 - 170. Even accounting for our optimistic speedometer readings he was clearly over 160.

And you appear to have done this at night!

Balls. Deathwish?

In the US, I would understand, but on the autobahn where police are not an issue, I would have waited for sunrise on Sunday. Might have gotten a better picture to boot.

For the voyeurs here... how about a video panning from speedo to what it looks like out the windshield? We americans want to live this stuff vicariously.

Dan.
