I ordered mine and had to wait 6 weeks for it to be delivered.

Used... I bought a MY04 in Oct 2006 for $25,000 from a private owner so no tax. he already had a Comptech SC and Exhaust on the car as well as a Passport SR-7 built in and an Alpine DVD player and custom touchscreen TV. He also had some swaybars put on the underbelly and fuel injectors and an EMS.

I think that I got a bargan.

I bought used. I have to admit it's great buying new so you know exactly what the car has been through, but I stopped worrying about it after a couple months and finding the maintenance records.
Plus it only had 9,000 miles on it.

Used. Couldn't afford 32K for new. Paid 18K for a honda certified to previous owner and passed to me. 49K on the clock.

new .

- excellent deals could have been had during the winter time (like 2k below invoice) that could easily compete against any used prices, but without the mileage
- sellers unrealistic about prices
- this car is a subject of mods by riceboys. Even if it is completely stock, who knows what mods were put in prior.

Used, found a really good example. I think a good clean used S2k is one of the best deal around, it's a lot of car for the money.
