The guy at the factory who made sure all the "H"s lined up with the valve stem better not see this... Actually, I think it looks nice, clean!

Why are people embarrassed that the car is a Honda?

You may be inferring way too much of why a person did this, imo.

Al, maybe a S2000 logo right on the center (painted in red) would make it look cool?

if one is careful, one can pop the "hubcap" off with a beveled bamboo chopstick[no scratches] and apply standard paint stripper to the spun aluminum surface...the "H" and the clearcoat will both disappear, leaving the factory spun finish..wash well with warm soapy water and reinstall!!i bought an extra set to strip and kept the originals...as the polar yang to rick hesel's emblem festooned yin, the only identification left on my car is the "H" on the steering wheel....and i'm thinking about that.....

I like it! And I got a chuckle out of dbw's observation and comments. I have recognized dbw's approach and how that is in direct conflict with Rick's approach to the application of logos.

Anyway, I like them. I will probably do this one over the winter...nice job!

dbw,
Your approach with the stripper to go with the spun finish would certainly be faster than mine! BTW, if you go with the polished or the spun, you probably want to give it a clear coat to protect it.
