Just bought my car on Friday of last week, and every time I drive (daily) it brings a smile to my face! I was back and forth with a Boxster and this car and landed on my 05. Couldnt be happier with my choice.

I started reading the posts on here about 2 weeks ago, and must say this is one of the best forums I have ever read. You all chip in a help and pat on another on the back, as to talking s*%t. I like that.

When I bought my car on Friday it was raining, which it does alot of here in Oregon. I bought from a local dealer certified, but did not buy the ext warranty. My car was sold orriginally in July of 05, so the factory is out of date. I still get the one year extention being that the car is certified.

The top did not go all the way down on the test drive? One of the service guys came out and said it had probally not been used in a while. He played with if a few time and when it finally went down, it make a not so nice noise. It also had a small tear above the drivers side. From the latches. I went back on the following day to take care of these items. The service manager came out and took pictures with his phone (better than saying we wont fix I guess) and said he would forward to his boss and will let me know. I placed a call in to him this morning to follow up, so we will see.

Well I have rambled far more than I had planned to, so now will upload my one pic I have then off to work.........

only to find out the car is ridiculously fun (i'll go drive around at night just for fun).
The forum here is amazing. everyone is extremely helpful. anything you have a question about is almost already answered (use the search before you ask)
and meeting other s2000 owners is great as i havent met anyone who isnt a good person yet

Congrats to both of you on purchasing a great vehicle.

I feel the same way about just going out for a cruise without any reason to other then to have fun and enjoy it, although I do need to change my tranny fluid due to clunky shifting that has shown within the last 1000 miles or so(feel like I'm shifting in a comaro or mustang).

Kallberg-where is the pic?

Suprmonky73-Keep enjoying your drives.

Congrats on the purchase kallberg. If it was a certified s2k, you should have the 7yrs/100k warrenty from the date the car was sold new.

My top was replace a few months ago under warrenty. I had a tear on the passager side.

have fun!

I like driving mine just for fun but i worry i will put to many miles on it . Even after driving it back after i bought it 700 miles i couldn't wait to drive again.

The members of these forums are by far the nicest most mature on the internet lol. Im not saying that as a joke either. Even if you repost here they will let you know you did but still answer your question and not flame you like members of other boards..
