newbie question about exhaust and intake and nos
Who makes the most performing exhaust and intake for the s2k I know its a repost sorry everyone just picked her up tongiht. also whats the biggest hit it can take from the bottle?
this is not some civic or other such car that you should just slap in nitrous and run away with it. maybe this is just my observation, but I'm guessing you're a younger guy who hasn't owned a sports car like this, and probably needs to learn more about performance parts and nitrous before you just go slapping a kit in and going "look at the nos".
first, intake and exhaust don't matter on this car. all of the aftermarket parts will be right within each other in terms of performance. as far as nitrous goes, the car can take a decent amount of shot, however, the amount would probably vary inversely with how often it is used.

Or, of course, i could be wrong.

Since your "background" consists of you being in the business for so long, I assume you are an adult and well aware of the importance of communication. First off, I recomment taking some grammar classes. Second, the fact that you mentioned using nitrous in your car, coupled with your seemingly pre-adolescent typing skills, makes it seem that you are some kid looking to build a car to make it in the next fast and furious movie. This forum offers help, but everything above all must direct the users towards safety. The way you came off in your original and second posts, does not make you look like an experienced car person. And third, you have been a member less than a week. That makes you look even that more new.
My suggestions would be, 1) learn some better grammar skills, especially using the word "background" and 2) maybe introduce yourself so that people will know that you have a 'back round'
With that all out of the way, air intakes pretty much do not do anything for the car. Some people dyno an extra 1-2 rwhp with the AEM style intakes, sometimes they lose 1-2 HP. As far as exhausts go, there are two new brands out that are dynoing well ahead of the others. Most of the exhausts again, gain within -5 to +5 HP at the ground. The new 70mm exhausts coupled with test pipe are showing +10 to +15 to the ground, so basically these two exhausts, the J's Racing and T1R (both single outlet) are the only exhausts people should be buying if they're looking to gain a considerable amount of power.
As far as the NOS, I believe direct port is suggested at 50 shot and wet systems around 100. The search will probably help you more on the nitrous subject.
good luck
