Default Newbie questions, sorry...

Hey guys, I am brand new to the S2000 scene, and I'm sorry for the newbie questions.... But here goes:

1) I saw on comptechusa.com that they want $4895 for their S/C kit.. Do all you guys pay that price, or are there other places that sell them cheaper...

2) What does a stock S2000 run in the 1/4 mile?

3) What kind of times can I expect from the Comptech S/C?

4) I am 5'11" roughly 220lbs, will the S2000 be a tight fit, or is there enough room? I heard it was for 5'8" and below...

Thanks guys...

1.) You can usually get them for a tad cheaper. Expect to pay around $4500-4900 though

2.)Depends how you drive it. Best I've heard of stock was around a 13.7. Most likely it will be around 14 though

3.)I'd estimate low low 13's (around 13.1 to 13 flat, maybe even high 12's)

4.)Find one to sit in and see. A lot of us are big guys too (I'm 6'0'' 180lbs). It may not be the most comfortable car you've driven but you should fit alright.

I'd imagine it would be possible. You'd need to have an aftercooler made and up the boost (switch pully's). Swap for a J's Racing/Jets final drive and do a basic I/H/E and you should be able to pull it off.

This is from an un-supercharged (temporarily) owner so I'm sure the supercharged owners would have more insight. Try Wesmaster and 1RandyC, they would be the most logical ones to answer

I have been told (not sure if this is correct), that the Comptech Supercharger + Nitrous is unsafe, and that they do not work well together, is this true?
