Ya I remember hearing about that a while ago. Looked something like an RX8 crossed with a 350 Z from the old pics I saw.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the S2000 was a hard top convertible instead?

no. Top's down all the time anyways, save for bad weather, so what's the point

Some idiot actually took time to photoshop an extra rollbar and seat onto that existing pic of a Laguna Blue S2k. People have too much time on their hands.

"It didn't sell as well as Honda had hoped" - Honda was hoping for big sales. They've got the Accord, Civic, and others to take care of that. This is a niche car built to showcase Honda's capabilities and celebrate their 50th anniversary.

and a bad one at that .. .how many seats do you see in the pic? It's an '06 with the two seats set in different positions. No 4 seats there. Besides, if it really were 4 seats .. the car is the same size ... the leg room in the back would barely be enough to slip a piece of paper in there.

Also, as someone noted on another thread, if you'll look at the cover between the two seat positions, you'll see where the chop was not entirely cleaned up.
