I do.. I really don't know what to say..

I didn't design it, I just bought it because I thought it was a nice car..

so are you a) an asshole for saying 'yeah I thought so too' or b) an asshole for taking credit where it isnt due

I mean anyone can go out and buy a 'nice car'

If I just say "Thank You" when someone says that to me.....that makes me an asshole?

 

well heres some story behind the convo..

me and a buddy were driving back up from florida to buffalo ny from spring break.. when we run out of stuff to talk about we over-evaluate stuff lol out of boredom..

so yeah... this convo took place in penn.

 

I usually return the compliment, you know,

"thanks, BTW those are nice shoes you have on."

or

"I really like your breasts, may i touch them?"

that way i don't feel like such an asshole.

 

 

this might make me sound bad, but i've heard so many "nice car" comments(for both of my cars) that the words "nice car" doesn't really mean anything to me anymore.

 

i just give them a smile and say thanks, or a smile and a wave

 

I always take it as a compliment - unless I'm driving a Kia!
