Default Nice service from a dealership for once

Discovered a small rip in my top last week - 1cm long slit from the outside, but on the inside is a fraying area about 1 inch radius

The rip is not major yet -- (it wont leak rain, but daylight will peak through)

Car is an 05 with 25,000 miles.

Took it to a local dealership, with all expectations of them putting up their hardest resistance... because we know how most stealerships are

Talked to the receptionist tech, and he was a bit hesitant at first, but within a few minutes he called another tech to inspect the car. They walked out, looked at it, and told me they would call the local manager/regional kahuna for service approval. Few days later they called me and said all is clear, and to bring the car in

A much smoother experience than I had imagined! Thanks GOODSON Honda in houston!

Glad to hear of a good experience thus far. Report back when they've finished the job.

Update: Picked up the car yesterday, and they had replaced it with a brand new top. 1700$ worth of service (700 for top and the rest for labor) paid for by warranty. They said to let it sit closed for a few days to "stretch" it out.

Correction: It was NOT Goodson Honda - those people are aholes. It was Russell & Smith Honda
