he's a great driver, but its easier to go 99% in a 30k car, rather than a 100,000+ car. I'm not taking any credit away from the driver though, just something to think about. Also this should be in the gallery yea?

From the way I see it that was not a race, but open track time, therefore as far as I'm concerned, and my point of view is from a driving school instructor's frame of reference; the Ferrari driver very foolishly missed out on a fantastic learning opportunity, which is why many of us actually go to a driving school or buy track time.

The S was clearly faster in some spots of the track, the Ferrari sure looked like it was holding him up in some of the corners. The smart thing to do would have let the S2000 pass, and then watch him for a lap or so to see what could be learned, then retake the position, if it could be done.

The only other observations I have
- the S guy was beating the crap out of his car straightlining the curbs, and sometimes was so aggressive on the curbs it upset the car and he had to correct for it
- the sound of the Ferrari was great added to the sound of the S
- great video clip
- I could care less if something like this is a repost, just because it is a repost does not mean everybody on s2ki saw it the 1st time...

Yeah, good video, but definitely a repost. It was originally posted in The Gallery... which is probably where this thread will end up.

The S closed a lot of grpund in the corners, but there is something to be said for the raw straightline speed of the ferrari. On the straights it made the s look like it was standing still.

The Ferrari's were being driven very conservatively and not very well.
