Whenever I get the chance, which is 90% of the time, the top is dropped! Night time driving with the top down is awesome!

yeah, i agree with most of the peeps here. top down driving at night time is an awsome feeling. in fact, i enjoy driving top down at night more than i do when the sun is out. and for those extremely cold nights, i just throw on a beenie, some gloves, and a fleece zipped all the way up to the neck to stay warm. people look at me funny some times when i'm all bundled up with the top down, but i think they are just jealous...

Driving at night with the top down is indeed a wonderful experience. I can vividly recal one night last summer that I had to work very late. It was about 1:30am when I was leaving and my travel up the Merritt Parkway home was incredible. It was a crisp, clear starry night (not a cloud in the sky). In addition, I was pretty much the only person on the highway.

For those of you who do not know the Merritt Parkway, it is a wonderful highway without any lights and lots of trees. A perfect night drive if I do say so myself.

I love driving at night with the top down. The openness and brisk air is exhilarating to say the least. I throw on a black beanie and black jacket. Funny how some people won't look at me...they must think I'm a thug Like a thug can afford a $30k plus car

The top on an S2000 is best kept down whenever temperatures permit (i.e., > 45 degrees F)

Time of day should not be a determining factor.

My car sits outside, so I pull it down if the top isn't wet or freezing. Otherwise I will run around topless at any temp...

And I do this more often than people think with the wet weather in Washington State!

I don't drive it with the top up. The boot stays on. I rarely drive it when I will have to put the top up such as in a parking lot.

Same here...
I point and snicker at those BMW and Porsche drop top drivers who always leave their tops up.

Has anyone noticed how much noise street lights make?
I never noticed before I got this car but those lights are really noisy. Buzzing and werring like they do.
