My dentist gives me nitrous when I go in to pay the bill. He puts Eric Clapton on the CD and snugs the headphones before cranking up the juice. It's terrific, I highly recommend it.

When I was 12, I had to have 4 teeth pulled for braces. My family dentist believed in music to help ease the patient. I was given the nitrous and was told to breath normally, I was so scared I was practically hyperventilating. The 8-track I selected was Abbey Road. By the time "I Want You" came on the room was spinning. I had one tooth out and puking blood, but when that tune came on, the spin of the room got in sync to the music. WOW, it was a religious experience. I've never looked at music and mind altering experiences quite the same.

Thank you Dr Strazerio!!!

Be careful. I'm pretty sure the nitrous would void your new car warranty.

I really wish that if you are going to disagree, you read the comments carefully and completely before doing so. I already told him to do research. A 50-75 shot of nitrous like I stated is very controllable. Check out the Zex system it has it's own control module. Mario if you are interested in doing this I can probably set-up something for you and Gui at Paisley Automotive. Let me know.

I would definitly go for a secondary output. One that is in the car. Get a nice wiff of that stuff. That wouldn't be legal would it?

Just pray the can dosen't blow up in the car!

I was also very interested in a 70 hp NOS dry shot upgrade but got a little hesitant when I found out the supercharger upgrade from comptech. But slowly I am getting a feeling that the clutch and the tranny is not meant to handle this kind of power.

I am also disheartened because I really wanted to keep my S for a while and make it faster. But now I am conviced that any upgrade of power to this car like NOS or supercharging will KILL the Tranny and clutch without doubt.

I love my S but because of this reason I will be selling my S by next spring and getting me a faster 2001 M3, which will NOT break down when the car is driven hard and WILL be able to handle the power.

Good Luck to all

turbo_pwr you are right I have no way of knowing that the tranny will not hold. But have seen the problem people have had with this cars tranny. Example talk to Vapor Trail and there is one other person also I forgot his name but he had his tranny replaced also(on honda-acura.net). I myself have had many problems with gear grind and other weird noises from the tranny and have taken it to the dealer multiple times for them to check it out. And knowing the Honda dealers who are impossible to convince that something is wrong.

To be honest what does your gutt feeling tell you about this cars tranny. Well mine says it sucks. I really was looking forward to the supercharge upgrade but am too scared to do it because warranty will be void regardless. So are you willing to dip out money for a new tranny if it does blow which again you won't be sure if new one will handle the power again. I'm sorry for me I can't be that confident with this car.

Truly I love this car but I've asked around dealers and some mechanic friends and what they suspect is that the probably car won't be able to handle the extra power.

The clutch issue is understandable it would definitely need to be changed with extra power to any car.

Also the 2001 M3 has some garauntee with tranny because they have used the same gear box, differential and clutch setup used in the M5, which you can read about in any magazine article and that car has a lot more horses and torque than the M3. Other than that I am not worried about any new flaws that would arise in the M3.

Taimur you live in Long Island so why not take your car to the same place Mario and Bieg went to get their gear grind fixed. Do a search, Vapor's problems had to do with a differential not the tranny. If you are talking about driveline parts breaking then I would have to disagree with you again. Whenever you add power it is not uncommon to break axles and shafts. Believe me this comes from a guy who does AWD launches at 5000 to 6000 rpms. I've seen 7K launches mangle and destroy cars. The S2K is a capable car but like any other car you will encounter problems if you modify.
