MY S2000 SUCKS!!! I live 20 miles from the dealership...10 miles into my trip home after purchasing my new S2000, it makes a clunking noise and stalls. I pull to the side and call the dealership. They tell me that I have to call roadside assistance. So I've owned the thing for 20 minutes and already I have to wait for 2 hours for roadside to get there. They can't get it fixed and have to tow it back to the dealership. 3 days later, they tell me that the head gasket was installed wrong. 6 days later it was finally returned to me. Since then, my alternator has failed as well as my fuel pump. Were the guys in the plant drunk when they built my car or do S2000's just suck in general? Maybe it was the dealership in St. Louis. I don't know, but I'm already ready to sell the damn thing. Frankly, I'd rather have a real machine made in Europe than some Asian, hi revving, POS.

You must have got the Friday at quiting time car. Sometimes a lemon sneaks through. Sucks for you but don't give up on the Stook.

I think the real world loss in power ends up being much more than 2-3 hp just because of heat soak and the lower end being so bad, I really can tell a big difference in power with or without just the top.
