6750Kms on my car now and it appears I have burnt no oil in the last 1000 or so Kms (since my 5K service). It's a bit early to tell but it appears my oil consumption is either diminishing or has ceased entirely as the car breaks in over time.

I've got 6000 kms, no oil consumption after the 5000 km service.

I have just over 7K. After about 3K it stoped burning oil. Have gone to checking oil only once per week

 

Same here, stopped consuming oil (never that much anyway) after about 3000 miles.

 

I used 2 quarts before 4,000 miles and burned another 3/4 quart before my second oil change at 8000.

I haven't burned anymore since, I'm just over 9600 miles.

I might not be using my VTEC as much as some of you!

 

I have 6k miles on mine and it has never burned a drop...

 

9615 miles on mine and I haven't used any oil either.

 

Just wondering if you guys switched to synthetic at your first 3750 mile/5000 km oil change. I currently have 2100 miles and have consumed about 1.75 quarts. I was told not to switch to synthetic until it stops drinking oil. I plan to do an oil change in Feb before a track event. Thanks

 

First change at 3750 was with regular, will be putting mobil 1 at 7500.
