no more S2000?
the s2k wont end producion soon, that would be one of the most stupid buisness decisions ever made, Honda spent millions on research for the F22c motor and after one year of production, they stop? come on now who would do that? that is crazy, HOnda would lose money by doing that because they would have to make up the money they used, then have to use more money redesigning other vehicles

Think of it as playing blackjack in Vegas. You may be in the hole $1000, but do you keep pumping money in for hopes of breaking even or pulling ahead? The odds say, cut your losses. Honda bean counters are probably weighing the same decisions. The only time this is financially a good idea is if you have a loss leader. That is, a product or car that losses money annually, but helps sell other products. Although the 'S' is a nice car, I do not think it qualifies as a loss leader.

Everyone's S's will finally hold their value or maybe go up in years to come
I read somewere that said 05 is the last year for the S as well as I spoke with my old sales manager at the Honda dealer and it was confirmed, so we'll see what happens next year.
Honda can always use the engine in other applications. Death of S2000 does not equal death of the engine. I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up later in the next generation TSX, esp if that sedan moves to SH AWD a la the new Legend, er, RL.
Autoweek's info on the S2000 is not presented very strongly. All they say is: "There might not be another S2000" That's it. That's all they say. Hardly the executioner's hand on the switch.

and i highly doubt the F22C costed millions to develop. The F20C did, but the incremental R&D for the F22C was almost surely minimal. All they likely had to do was model the new crank/rods on a computer and then mill out the optimal design.
