I asked my saleslady today about getting more blues this year and she told me that they were only getting two more S2000's period for the rest of the 2002 model year. She said that there is talk that the S2000 may move to Acura for 2003. She is not a BS'er and no reason for her to lie as we are friends. Still, will have to wait and see.

Just remeber this: Salesmen are the last people to know anything. If the s2000 was being moved to Acura, we would know before them.

manufacturers historically discontinue colors if they fail to be bought to a minimum percentage that they monitor for:

examples; lexus GS4/300 midnight metallic blue offered 1st year(but i think they more recently reintroduced to give it another shot

'98 corvette light purple, also axed for lack of sales.

they are in the business to make money....u can paint it any color u like, and get rid of the OEM orangepeel(results from mass produced 2 stage paint,ie clearcoat, that isn't buffed because is too labor intensive to do cheaply.

If Monte Carlo Blue is introduced, I will get it the second it comes out! I even went and got a quote to get it painted Monte Carlo Blue, I would have it in Monte Carlo Blue if I had the funds at the time.

I agree on the Monte Carlo Blue. I liked the blue leather in the Suzuka Blue one this year but the outside blue was too light for me.

Only two more cars, that's probably all the dealership was allocated, move the "S" to an Acura badge ROTFLMAO , that's a good one!

Does anyone know much about the name Suzuka. I was told it is a race track in Japan. Is this true?
