Noise

Default Noise

My car when it starts first in the morning makes noise for 2 minutes and than it stops. The noise is from the front engine area. it is diferent from the engine sound. Any ideas what is this noise

Probably the electric air pump in the front bumper.. only activated during cold starts.

Might be the air pump in the front left of the car. Sounds like a high pitched whine and lasts about 2 minutes. It will only come on at engine start with a cold engine.

Well this might just be the simple fact that, during cold starts, the engine revs higher for a few minutes just to get the car "warmed up", and so your idle is around 700-800 RPMs more...

After a few minutes, it dips back down to a normal idle.

Maybe that's it.
