Default Noises Please Help?

two noises.

when my driver window goes down it makes a clicking popping noise not all the time but once in awhile. is that something that's common or should i take it to the dealer to have it checked.

when the roof is closed i hear a popping noise at freeway speeds above my head. again are these all S2K quirks? i would think if it's been around for 5 years all the bugs have been fixed.

a tiny, mechanically-operated softtop roadster is bound to have some noises. i've never had those myself, but everyone's S has its own set of obnoxious noises

Agreed, I had this rattle when I drove around and figured out that it was just the seatbelt. Then I had excessive wind noise and found out that my passenger didnt put the window aaaall the way up, I mean the list goes on, point is that a lot of the time the noise is nothing to worry about.

get a towel or something, with the top down slide that something under the metal around the hinge above your head area, spray some wd-40 all up in the metal parts, noises gone
