absolutly, if the car is under warranty just bring it to the dealer and complain about everything you dont like in the car and want fixed. If they claim there is nothing they can do, print out the TSB and show it to them or tell them to look it up. Warranties are a wonderful thing so take advantage of it while you can.

 

does it sound like a rock just hit the side of ur car or somethin? cause if it is then i ahve the same problem. i have an 06 with about 650 miles on it, and lately every once and then i hear this sound...i ono where its comin from, but it sounds horrible!

 

yeah that's exactly what it sounds like, like little pebbles being hit up against the car but it comes from the soft top. i think its that center joint where the top folds right above my left shouder one side is metal and the other side has like a hard plastic cover piece where the joint meets. i still am not sure but that's my guess. if anyone has ever done any mods to that joint let me know PLEASE.

 

mine comes from the passenger side.... cannot pinpoint the source. i have a 06.... 2000 miles now.
