I think there was a confusion if the non USDM 2004 and up cars are AP1 or AP2 and what changes they have. I had the chance to drive a stock 2005 EUDM, my car is a 2003 EUDM.
Chassis code is AP1, engine code is F20C but the suspension set up and chassis stiffnes are a night and day difference. The car feel so MUCH more stable.
Gearing is same, we tried with a 2003 EUDM (stock) and the shiftpoints are all the same.
So my conclusion is, markets with a F20C get the same car as the markets with F22C (means new interior, body, chassis, suspension) but the engine and tranny are still the same.
Hope this helps, and I hope all the 2004 and up guys feel fine when they read this:
I LOVE your chassis and suspension
but would never give up my speedo. The 2004 and up F20C powered S has the same layout as the F22C 8000rpm speedo and I don't like that at all.

the AP2 exists in Japan now, too.
Are you referring to the 2006 S2000?
