well a little update. they found more damage with the frame and the exhaust so they are replacing the exhaust and straightening out the frame.

My only concern is that it won't drive the same and will be screwed up forever because of the Frame damage. Is there anything I should be aware of concerning the frame damage? Anything I should look for or insist upon?

Glad you came out of it OK. Sucks that there was frame damage but all you can hope for is they do a great job getting it back together.

Look at the upside, I've heard of people saying after their frame damage repair, it was better than before.

It defenitely blows, but at least you're alright. I was hit over five months ago by a drunk driver. My left leg was crushed and I'm still unable to walk let alone drive my S.

How do you know it was a drunk driver? Appears you are assuming that.

are you serious? I'm assuming?

you go driving and see a swerving car coming at you in a two lane road that then starts to merge head on into you then when you completely lose control and spin out and there is a ton of noise an the "sober" driver doesn't turn around to help the person they just screwed and then tell me they aren't intoxicated. it happened @ 3 am...Bars close @ 2 or 3 I believe...more likelihood of it being a drunk than anything else.

I can't believe all the random bullshit thoughtless comment that have popped up because of this thread. I post to inform and keep a (I thought ) like minded community informed and I get shit? F$%k that. don't bother commenting if your just being a dumb shit.

Wow! I'm so sry to hear that man. I am definitely lucky how I came out fine just sore. I hope you fully recover soon! I hate not driving my S. I can't imagine not being able to drive it because of an injury and not because of damage.

You should take a victory trip when you do recover to celebrate!

That sucks. Good luck getting it back on the road.

I got ran out of my lane today in a pretty close call. Not a drunk, just a typical inept girl not paying attention while changing lanes.

I love the way the car handles in situations like that, though.

Wow bars close early in your neck of the woods, glad you are ok. Can the police investigate and find the damaged car? Did you at least see the car to describe to the cops?

dont drive late at night since you seem to know when the drunk drives are out
even if it was a sober person that ran you off the road.. you think they would turn around and pay for what they did if they think they can get away
people fall asleep at the wheel all the time as well
