Default Is this normal? gasoline gauge a darker orange

hey guys, just wanted to know if it's normal to have the gasoline gauge in a darker orange color than the tach and temp gauge. I've attached a pic to show what I mean. It's way more noticeable in person and just seems a little odd to me

My fuel gauge seems brighter, i.e. the same color and brightness as the remainder of the display.

How do they compare when the headlights are on? Or they now?

You may have some burnt out backlighting bulbs, I had to replace a few on my 2006. I had similar issues but mine was near the tach redline and temperature gauge area.

that's what I'm thinking too, but wouldn't the whole gauge go out if the bulb went out?

No, the bulbs are connected in parallel and not in series, I think I had to buy about 5 new bulbs to fix the backlighting. Honda has 3 or 4 different types of bulbs in the cluster, the plastic base of the bulb is colour coded.

Here is a link to a post from another member with pics of the disassembly. Good luck.
